    Embassy / VFS Appointment & Visa D Submission

    Insurance: €30,000+
    • Application form, valid passport, admission letter
    • Attested & translated documents, housing proof, bank statement
    • Travel health insurance with minimum €30,000 coverage

    Arrival in Austria & Final Registration

    Meldeamt: 3 DaysÖGK: ~€65–70/mo
    • Register at the local Meldeamt within 3 business days to obtain the Meldezettel
    • Enrol in ÖGK public student health insurance (~€65–€70/month)
    • Collect the Aufenthaltstitel Studierende (biometric residence card) from MA 35 / Magistrat
